LATE ONSET HYPOGONADISM: TO TREAT, NOT TO TREAT AND WHO MUST TREAT?

Abstract
The article presents a review of the literature, which indicate the current understanding of the clinical significance of late onset hypogonadism and types of its correction. The results of studies demonstrate the efficacy and safety of hormone replacement therapy. The authors point to the need for health care professionals to understand and see the benefits of substitution treatment. But the priority in the appointment and monitoring of therapy should be for the urologist and endocrinologist.
