Benign tumour of the epididymis: from differential diagnosis to organ-sparing management and fertility preservation

https://doi.org/10.21886/2308-6424-2026-14-3-105-109

Abstract

Epididymal tumours are exceptionally rare, accounting for just 0.03% of all tumours in men, which likely explains the scarcity of reported cases in the literature. This article presents a clinical case illustrating the diagnostic approach and management of a patient with a benign tumour of the testicular appendage. A review of the literature on the diagnosis and management options for this condition is also provided.
