Он выполняет важные биологические функции, влияет на здоровье и долголетие посредством метаболических и эндокринных систем. Нарушение сна является одним из наиболее серьёзных клинических состояний, которые могут ухудшить жизненный прогноз и качество жизни. Недосыпание, циркадное смещение, синдром обструктивного апноэ сна широко распространены в современном обществе и накапливаются с течением жизни. Неблагоприятные кардиометаболические и репродуктивные последствия недостаточного сна становятся все более очевидными. У мужчин при постоянном недостатке сна и его нарушениях может проявиться ряд последствий для здоровья, включая гипогонадизм, так как повышение тестостерона во время сна физиологично и достигает пика во время первого быстрого сна с движением глаз. Следовательно, постоянное нарушение архитектуры сна и его потеря могут привести к снижению уровня мужских половых гомонов. С другой стороны, снижение уровня тестостерона ухудшает качество сна, его эффективность и способствует ночным пробуждениям. В статье представлен обзор и обсуждены взаимосвязи между нарушением сна и дефицитом тестостерона, а также рассмотрены методы коррекции данных состояний.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>   Healthy sleep is essential for human health. It performs important biological functions and positively affects health and longevity through the metabolic and endocrine systems. Sleep disorders are serious clinical conditions that can reduce life expectancy and quality of life. Sleep deprivation, circadian rhythm disruption, and obstructive sleep apnea syndrome are widespread in modern society and can accumulate over time. The adverse cardiometabolic and reproductive consequences of insufficient sleep are becoming increasingly evident. In men, persistent sleep deprivation and sleep disorders can lead to several health problems, including hypogonadism. This is because testosterone levels increase during sleep and peak during rapid eye movement (REM) sleep. Consequently, persistent disruptions in sleep architecture and loss of sleep can lead to a decrease in male sex hormone levels. On the other hand, low testosterone levels can worsen sleep quality and efficiency and lead to nighttime awakenings.
